INDIVIDUAL FUNDRAISING ACCOUNT (IFA)
An “IFA” is an account record created to track & house a student’s fundraised earnings.
- Fundraised Earnings - a.k.a. “Booster Bucks” - are tracked in the student’s Charms account. The balance rolls over year-to-year.
- “Booster Bucks” can be applied toward many required music class expenses like class-specific materials/activity fees, school-owned instrument rental fees, formalwear fees, etc., as well as travel fees as part of certain designated Music Class trips.
- “Booster Bucks” cannot be redeemed for cash and cannot be used for optional purchases (such as Spiritwear, personal instruments & related supplies/repairs, etc.).
- Unused “Booster Bucks” remaining at the end of a student’s senior year will either:
A) transfer to the IFA of the student’s enrolled or incoming sibling, or
or B) transfer to the Boosters General Fund if there is no sibling |
- To apply “Booster Bucks” toward a required fee or an IFA-designated class trip, simply submit the electronic IFA Transfer Form found on the website: http://www.lwwmusic.org/ifa-transfer-request
The LWWMB Treasurer will process eligible requests and apply available “Booster Bucks” as payment.
