Volunteer Opportunities

The LWW Music Booster Organization counts on music parents, guardians, and students volunteers to help make our fundraisers, events, and activities a success! You will receive requests to volunteer via our Facebook Group, Instagram, the Boosters newsletter, and Presto emails.
Please volunteer often!

LWW Music Department

FORMAL WEAR

VOLUNTEER CHAIRPERSON
Throughout the school year

Organizes formalwear distribution to the Music Students

Oversee student “fittings”, assign garments, track distribution. (August/September)
Handle garment issues as needed. (throughout the school year)
Coordinate student returns. (May)
Coordinate dry-cleaning services/repairs/delivery/pickup with Vendor. (August/May, at the beginning and end of school year)

VOLUNTEER CHAIRPERSON SHADOW

Shadows Volunteer Chairperson to lead the following year

ADULT VOLUNTEERS

Assist with student “fittings”

STUDENT VOLUNTEERS
August/May, at the beginning and end of school year

Assist with student garment returns and prepping the garments for delivery to dry-cleaners. Students earn service hours.

STEP-UP CONCERT DINNER

Executive board to organize the student dinner for each of the step-up concerts: band, choir and strings. This is for LWW musicians and 8th graders from Liberty and Manhattan Jr. High Schools.

Assist with set-up, serving dinner to the students, and clean-up. Usually start around 4:30pm and end at 6pm or so.
