Lincoln-Way West is a part of the award-winning Lincoln-Way High School District #210. The music department is recognized as being an outstanding and highly talented organization, with many course offerings and extracurricular activities available to students. Instrumental music ensembles include Wind Ensemble, Symphonic Band, and Percussion Ensemble Classes. Vocal music classes include Chorale, Concert Chorale, and Mixed Choir. Courses are also offered in String Orchestra, Guitar One and Guitar Two, and Guitar Studio. Other music classes include Music Production One, Music Production Two, Music Production Three, and Beginning Piano. Students who participate in Lincoln-Way West Music Classes emerge with a strong understanding of music theory and appreciation. Lincoln-Way West is also known for its outstanding music extracurricular activities. These activities include; Madrigals, Marching Band, Instrumental and Vocal Jazz ensembles, Winter guard, Musical, Pep Band and A Capella Choirs.
